I just have to share something with you. I was reading this book, and in the book, it gets to a part where it's Halloween...I should tell you that to get through this book until this point in which it was Halloween in the book took me forever. it wasn't one of those books that makes it easy to figure out and sleuth on what might happen next, and then you read on and you see if you're correct or not. This book would not give me any clues, it took me on this path that I couldn't see five feet in front of myself while I was taking it. I got lost and found all over again. But I got to Halloween allright. And on the day I read it, for me, it was Halloween too. Like I'd been reading this thing just at the right speed, started it on the right day, put it down on the right one too. And right after Halloween you can imagine was the first dark days of November, and here's this book talking about everything I can see out the window happening, as the Sun is harder and harder to find and we all remember what winter is really like. And so I just finished it, tonight, the day after Thanksgiving is what today is, as you might know. And do you know what the last day in the book is? Thanksgiving. It's that for at least the last fifteen or so pages. I've never heard of a book being read with such proper timing before. It makes me feel like maybe it's not just that book that was timed right, but maybe it's got something to do with me too. I mean, it's been sitting in my bookshelf for at least three-quarters of the year. And it near disintegrated in my bag as I carried it around with me, I don't think it would have even existed had I taken any longer to get done with it. It was just a case of perfect timing. I was just paying attention is all.
