It's time. I got one hour of sleep before hauling my body to the train. A flight to Miami, delayed two hours but more convenient in the end.

Look, look how small it all is. The design of the land is still dominant, we don't totally own it yet. We can only cover it with our own design. I can see my house...

Going south, once again as last year, bringing the rain with me to South Beach. Sorry!

Flying doesn't scare me as much anymore though. I almost enjoy it, you could say.

Still, down here is better, although you're back thinking that all the small stuff is big again.

But hey, sometimes the beers are free, so you just have to go with it.

NADA party.

Brendan wowed. Thanks NADA for just putting on a great show. Although, last years show was great too.

Soiled Mattress dudes brought their tour to South Beach to shake it up. And it was so nice to see so many friends too, even ones I never would've thought that I would see down there.

The hotels in South Beach are like out of another time. They're like how I use to call those two buildings at the North end of Bay Ridge the Argonath, because they were like sentinels guarding the entryway to a different kingdom. Except if these are like Argonath, they protect not only the shores of South Beach, but the memories of what this town was like before it became the wierdness that it is now.

But they still make you feel fancy when you hang out in them.

The weather was better this year than last year. Awesome, because then I got to bum it on the beach for a little. It's true that summer in New York is long gone because I forgot that Sunscreen exists in the world. That was a true mistake, though I escaped with only a minor burn on one thigh. I always burn/tan very asymetrically. I hate being unbalanced.

We're such invaders down there, even to eachother.

Thank god for this sometimes. I mean really, can someone get me a job at the beach or something? It's cold here.
